UO Seasonal AP block outs on concert dates

I am thinking about getting a Seasonal AP.

I understand that Seasonal APs are blocked out on concert dates. It seems that concert dates are not reflected in the blockout calendar on Universal’s website. For example, Rock the Universe is January 23-24, 2026, but those dates are not shown as blocked out unless I am misunderstanding something.

I haven’t been able to find 2026 dates for concerts other than Rock the Universe on the website.

How do you figure out when concert dates are so you can determine when Seasonal APs are blocked?

I’ think last year I was worried about Mardi Gras concerts with our seasonal pass. Those haven’t been announced yet. I am not blocked out on Rock the Universe concert dates. I also think those blockouts are just for USF on the concert date.

Thanks for this helpful info - do you have any sense of when Mardi Gras concerts are announced?

IME - I have been blocked out of USF on RTU dates and Mardi Gras Concerts dates.

I did double check the AP block out calendar. It says “Good to Go” on those dates this year. However, if you look at the very tiny print at the bottom of the calendar you see this…

“Blockout dates are subject to change without notice. Additional concert dates may be announced at a later date and are subject to change. Seasonal Passholders are blocked out of Universal Studios Florida on all concert dates. Power Passholders are only blocked out of Universal Studios Florida until 5pm on concert dates IF a concert takes place on a blockout date. Should a concert take place on a blockout date, Power Passholders may enter Universal Studios Florida after 5pm.

It’s usually early January. I think it was Jan. 7th last year

Thanks for asking! Now that they have announced the concerts, the blockout calendar has been updated. This gives me the information I need to select a pass. I hadn’t purchased yet because I was waiting for the announcement.
