Universal Testing Paid Individual Express Passes?

I just stumbled upon this in the UG. Has anyone seen or heard ANYTHING about this?? I REALLY want it to be a thing when we go. It would be perfect. I would spend like $50 on an ILL for Mine-Cart Madness and then I could completely stop stressing out.

$50 per person? Please don’t get a job in the pricing department of UOR

Aside from my poor joke/ribbing above … If UOR went the individual Express Pass route (which I could see them doing), I suspect that UOR will not sell individual Express Passes for a ride that is excluded from the regular Express Pass due to the ride’s low riders per hour capacity.

Well they want to charge me $250 for the EP so I think $50 can’t be far off if Rise is $25.

But you make an excellent point about Mine Cart specifically :sob: I think that maybe we will just need to resign ourselves to waiting 90 minutes or not riding.

Our current plan for our family trip is to buy express pass and skip Mine Cart unless the line for Mine Cart is less than an hour an some point during the day (maybe right before park close?).

We were originally 1000% going to skip BatM but now I think we’ll need to be resigned to skipping Mine Cart. I have been watching the evening waits religiously and think an evening ride might be doable but the hours change to 9pm close by the time we go. And I have no idea what the DSs will want at 9pm. It’s also possible we could ride Hiccup 4x between 8 and 9 and I think they would rather just do that. For all I know they’ll want to be in the training camp for 3 hours. I’m working myself to be ok with that.

This has been an on and off again project for a bit now. I believe when the book was in writing it was an active plan, but now might be on the back burner due to Epic. I haven’t heard anything new about it in a bit. Hope that helps!
