Universal Orlando News & Planning Thread

I did a Google search and it does seem to follow that pattern. It is a great event, but like any after hours event (this one includes lots of food and is two parks) tickets can add up.

I have been looking for new dates to be released because i am planning on doing a night or two over the next school year with a friend.

Good to know it’ll likely happen on the 4th. We won’t be going to that event but I’ll factor it into our plans.

I voted 2nd and 4th because I think you’ll want it on your first full day to get through as much as you can, then the second day you can try to hit things that don’t need EP, and then your final day you can pick up what you missed or do repeats.

This is my instinct also! Alternates go-go-go with more relaxed touring.

Thanks for opinioning.

In addition to alternating go-go-go with relaxed, I recommend Not doing every EP ride in all three parks in one day. You can, but we were pooped. Before our first 3-park EP day I named off every EP ride and the family said whether or not they were interested in it. Then I made an EP TP for each of the three parks for the next day. For example, I feel silly looking back, but we’d included that elevated SeussLand train. On one hand, Doing the queue and the ride didn’t take long. But the hike there wasn’t worth it. I still liked having a TP on our EP days. I had it set to minimize walking, and updated frequently. Main benefit was to plan food since we could see where abouts we would be located when we’d probably get hungry.

In Epic, we also really loved being able to pre-order our food on the phone. It gave us something to Do and discuss in the queue.
One of the TP-enablers. Go EP’s!

Oh, I wasn’t even considering this! Sounds exhausting.

Of course, we’ll have the luxury of 2 EP days. (And 1 other full day and 3 partial days). If we were going to have only 1, I might feel different.

I am actually surprised this is even possible! :scream: Maybe on a really low crowd day? I’m thinking of Epic and Hagrid’s Motorbike especially - the EP line is not necessarily short.

There may have been a recent adjustment to EP waits? DIL and I entered Hagrid’s express line around 2:00pm. I believe the standby line was 115 minutes. We waited less than 15. Even low level attractions- Seuss Trolley is a family tradition. I think this was the first time we walked straight in to load a trolley. There was no wait at all.

That is good to hear! Hopefully that is standard now.

I’ve just read that the horror make-up show is closing for a revamp…

Thanks for reporting!

I knew of the plan to do so, but didn’t know exactly when.

I’ve seen it many times, so I’m excited for an updated show!

It sounded like a good show so I’m sad we will likely miss out on this on our July trip (but we’ll still have Bourne and Animal Actors - plus the shorter HP related performances).

I could have written your post (except the July trip part)! It was on our plans, and I guess I’ll substitute Animal Actors, although I’m also a little sad. Bourne is a must!

It was great.

We had a memorable experience one time. Moments that make your whole family trip special. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Beetlejuice was actually part of the preshow and had the best time interacting with my kids, along with the main actor.

Wow - I was talking ti a CM about my RIP HHN tickets and theu mentioned the show would be closed ā€œfor a long refurbā€ and they weren’t expecting it to be available for any of HHN. May-Oct is a long time for a show to be down.

Idk how I feel about this. Kind of gross  I assume it was there before.

It looks like someone flung mud at it. As someone with a brick patio that needs to be powerwashed, that’s not how moss grows along bricks. At least in my experience, it starts along the edges where the mortar is and then grows inwards across the brick. It’s not just, like, splattered on there.

Mythos Restaurant in the Lost Continent is closing permanently in 2027

Thunder Falls Terrace will close this summer to be transformed into IOA’s new signature full service restaurant, opening in 2027.

Rumor is it will become Hammond’s, similar to the restaurant in Jurassic World in Universal Beijing.
