Thanks. I saw there was a showtime on Sunday, but there’s not one listed today. I’ll remove them.
I didn’t read Stella’s article carefully, but it sounds like there is still a fountain show, but that the big fountains aren’t a part of it. I’m not sure how we’ll handle that (if it all).
Universal is still showing a “Cosmos Fountain” show time, so we’ll continue to list that, even though the big fountains are not currently running. The “show” involves a lot more than the big fountains that are currently dry, and it’s worth experiencing if you’re in the park late.
We’ll ignore the inconsistency of the Cosmos Fountain show not actually involving the physical Cosmos Fountain.
I still miss Posideon’s Fury! It was a great indoor attraction / show that got you out of the heat. I hadn’t considered the future of the Mystic Fountain. I doubt they’ll bring it back. He’s so fun.
I’ve heard that Vol over at VB has been gone for a while as well.
Having live performers in the parks for attractions / experiences and not just coasters is what seperates a theme park from an amusement park.
I’m fine with parks making changes every 20+ years. I just don’t want to continue to lose performers!
That’s a good point. I made an adjustment so that you can add Cosmic Fountain at park close at Epic Universe, however short-lived and/or inaccurately described it may be. Granted, our touring plan software won’t do anything amazing with it (you’ll go when the park is closed).
I can’t see times in the app, either. However, sometimes we’re able to look at the data that powers UOR’s official app, and I’ve seen Cosmos Fountain times there recently.
Regardless, it sounds like you can watch a light/music/water show of some sort if you stick around Epic Universe at closing time.
