I saw this today. Looks like theyâve staggered closures over the month for maintenance. And left it open on the weekends.

What the heck, theyâre driving me crazy. That does look more normal, except the Friday is still closed.

The thing is, last winter VB was open every day. Itâs more about projected attendance than the need for refurb.
USF and IOA are set to close earlier too, compared to a year ago.

I wonder if itâs a combination of much less revenge travel and needing time to do maintenance. Blizzard beach and typhoon lagoon are closed for weeks each year when they can get maintenance done. With only 1 water park universal may have to time closures better.

I really enjoyed the article! I did find the soft drink comparisons a little âunfairâ in the price evaluations. Itâs far more common & likely that guests at UOR are using a refillable Coke Freestyle cup. I only have to pay once a day and can bring it everywhere in the parks. My price per drink greatly diminishes after the third drink if the day.
I have noticed the prices, overall, climbing significantly for food at UOR over the last 2 years. You really canât find a QS âmealâ for under $12 anymore
