I’m all decked out & ready for Jollywood!
I’ve turned soooo many heads here at the hotel! I feel like a rock star!!
I’m planning to meet a handful of Liners as soon as I get into the park. We’re got to do my first ever rides on MMRR and RotR together.
Afterwards, it’s all rides and the Muppets for the night.
I will do a “LIVE” and candid Jollywood TR as much as possible. So ask any questions and I’ll see what I can do.
I am pretty hungry already, so snacks and drinks are on the agenda at some point! Any suggestions or requests??
I am going to change the title again for those Disney fans that might not normally look at UOR trip reports

I arrived at 5:15pm and made the short walk to the park entry.
There’s ZERO signage directing you where to go. However, I saw a big holding pen area and went there. I confirmed I was in the right spot and got photos from a photographer while waiting.
There’s about 45 people here now, but you aren’t allowed to stand in any queue. So we are all sitting on curbs and planters around the area.

There was no need to get here so early. There only were about 100 - 150 people in the area at 6pm. The pen never got full like at MVMCP.
At 6pm they announced that we could come up and start getting wristbands and lanyards.
It was a mad rush with no organization!! Completely chaotic!!
I was already sitting close to the line of CMs blocking entry waiting.
As a solo, I zipped right in and got my credentials. If you have a stroller or small kids people are pushing past without any courtesy.
It’s a terrible system. They could’ve made organized queues.
They scanned my ticket there.
After that you are allowed to wait at the DHS entry taps
I’m about the fifth person from the taps. However, they are currently covered. I am wondering if we are done or going to have to scan in again.
The gossip around me is we are done with all that and ready to go once they give the word.
There’s no rope either. Just CMs standing in place to hold back the flood of guests.
The CM put the wristband on so tight… 
Plus, it almost matches my skin tone…I hope the CMs see it easily so I don’t have to be stopped at any point…

Glad to see him working. Last time we were there, it was running B mode, so Hondo was just a face on a screen, and the animatronic was covered up with a tarp!

Because my birthday is at midnight I got s birthday badge. They let me have right pilot. I got to pull the hyperdrive! 9 year old Larry is squealing in my heart!

I am walking to TSL…I got a bit turned around and got back to the hub. I did see the queues to meet multiple characters. They are stupid long!!!
IMHO - You are paying so much for so little time.
I was walking into TSL when I heard, “Larry!!” right next to me!
@Bubblez got blinded by my jacket and spoted me!
She told me where to find @mathhound in TSL!.. She & I rode SDD & A2S together. Then I got to have Woody’s Lunchbox all for the first time! The grown-up lemonade is delicious, even if it’s lacking in alcohol.

After TSL we headed to the Holidays in Hollywood…we got there too early for me so I dipped over to ToT.
OMG! I remember why it was my favorite ride in Orlando for so long!
Saw the show… it’s good, but about 2 songs too long…
After the show I did repeat rides on MMRR & MF:SR.
No one is in SW:GE!!
I had my own Millennium Falcon ride…
I was walking by Oga’s right at midnight…which means it’s technically my Birthday!!!
I walked in and there must have only been 6 people total!
The food lines were FINALLY low enough to get something aftet midnight.
The Korean Chicken funnel cake was surprisingly good! The funnel cake was “ok”, but the sauce & chicken really hit the spot!
I rushed back to Sunset Blvd to see Sunset Seasons greetings and a repeat on ToT. I could’ve walked on either RnR or Tower at that times. Even though I haven’t been on RnR in a decade I knew it would be rough. Besides, I love ToT!
Still managed to catch the last couple of songs of JBJB!
It was packed shoulder to shoulder…No one was pushy, but even squeezing-in to a spot near the center it wasn’t a great view.
The fireworks are “meh” compared to MVMCP.
I’m glad I did Oga’s & Tower instead!
I never attempted a character meeting, even at 11:30 - 12am there was always a 15 - 20 minute line… (This us my guess based on at least 15 - 25 people minimum in each queue)
I did manage at least 3 - 4 photopass photos here & there…mostly at the end of the night…
I bumped into all The Fabvillians and most every Liner that was in attendance! It was WONDERFUL to see everyone! My only regret that it was at the end if the night and we only had a few minutes together!
I did make multiple friends in queues and even took photos with families! One little girl gave me a friendship bracelet! And another little one I met earlier even caught cup for a last minute hug as we we all leaving! It melted my heart!

Sorry I couldn’t be as “LIVE” as usual! I had so much fun meeting and hanging out with Liners that my phone would’ve been a distraction.
Besides, I did sooooo many “firsts” tonight that I wanted to take it all in…
Here’s my review…
I paid for the event and all my food with Disney Visa points. The rideshare was $30 each way. This includes 30% tip. So…I only “paid” $60 to attend.
Yes…it’s too short on time. That’s the obvious & common thing everyone says. I do believe letting the party guests in 30 - 60 minutes sooner or later wouldn’t be as disruptive as imagined. I did Ops & Group Sales for theme parks for years. The extra time, especially if distributed as open 30 minutes sooner & staying 30 minutes later would resolve this.
No…you can’t do it all…It’s impossible. You HAVE to decide if you are seeing shows, meeting characters or doing rides. I really only did one show and spent my night on rides.
I thought I was “on the go-go-go” at MVMCP, but it’s nothing compared to this!!!
I had sooo much fun, but my “cost” was $180 for the ticket, $65 for two snacks and two cocktails…not including another $60 for a rideshare… (I know most people would be on-site)
I don’t know if I can recommend it…
If you’ve been to DHS recently and more often than me then I don’t know what you can do at the event that isn’t offered in the daytime.
If you just HAVE to meet Duffy or Powerline Max you can for a big fee…
Btw… I know I have been a bit critical of the character meetings. I will say they were EVERYWHERE! You couldn’t walk 50 feet without seeing a queue for a character. However, many kf them you can meet in the day or at other parks in the daytime.
The one food item I got to try was good and I could’ve gotten a second different item at the end of the night, if I’d skipped the repeat of ToT.
But I don’t think paying, minimum $200, to enter and eat ONE item is worth it…You could easily spend $300+ per person if you ate a couple more items or cocktails…

P.S. – I’m EXTREMELY grateful that I remembered to bring scissors on this trip or this wristband would be stuck on me for a week! 
EDIT - I forgot that you do get Photopass included in your ticket. Once I got home I saw how many times I was able to quickly get pictures taken without a character.
