I’m really struggling with this one. We’re staying one night at the Delta Anaheim, and the plan was to leave the luggage at the hotel, go to California Adventure and come back to pick them up (I don’t like leaving luggage in a car.)
a) Should be drive from Delts to the parking lot? (And I’m assuming Toy Story is best, but let me know if I’m wrong)
We have stayed at the Anaheim Marriott just next to that before and that hotel does have a shuttle that’s shared with the Hilton and one other hotel in that area (at least that’s how it worked when we last stayed which was quite some time ago in 2018). It was an extra charge but nominal IIRC. Not sure if the Delta Anaheim would also have a similar shuttle setup, but you can definitely check it out.
I prefer to drive to have access and control over when I’m leaving so of the 3 options, I personally would pick drive into the Toy Story lot (yes it is the best one from where your hotel is & is a quick shot over to it).
But you can’t go wrong with any of your choices. The first time we stayed in that area we did use the shuttle, and it worked. My one call out would be tha the shuttle will probably get you there closer to park opening than in an earlier spot for being competitive for rope drop, so either drive or ride share if you care about being closer to the rope.
