Two separate questions (HHN related)

  1. If you purchase the HHN package, and tag an additional ticket on for a person who only wants to visit during regular hours, can you divide up the tickets when check in to your hotel? The package currently has a Florida resident offer for a one-day PTP, but since I’m already doing USF after dark i only want to do IOA during the day. Can i put the PTP ticket in the other guest’s name, and keep the the single park and HHN tickets for myself?

  2. Does the Lines app function during HHN? I mean, I’m sure you can still use it on the open rides, but does it also take the haunted houses, mazes, and performances into account?

@darkmite2 will know more about your first first question. I don’t know how HHN tickets work.
What I do know is that the check in desk will be unable to re-assign tickets. We had success using chat in the app when we assigned tickets over two accounts by mistake. This was electronically though, so if you have a paper ticket in someone else’s name you would probably have to go to the will call kiosks to sort it out.

The answer to your second question is no. Lines only tracks waits of permanent rides, not HHN houses. If HHN is after park close the app will no longer track ride waits either.

No, largely because the event changes so much year to year by the time any statistically valid data could be taken the event would end.

Nightmare Fuel show performances are at 8pm, 9:30pm, 11pm, and 12:30am every night.

I have a touring plan outline in my article:

Also the haunted houses and mazes are one and the same, just two different words to describe the same concept.

Hmm, well my problem stems from if i start with two guests, it automatically orders me a second HHN ticket, and it wont let me drop one

Does it at least offer current/estimated wait times?

I guess i meant the general themed zones instead of mazes

That’s weird.
I have no answer :woman_shrugging:t4:

No. There is no data for HHN as far as I’m aware.

No, we don’t offer estimated wait times for the houses.

As for the scare zones, you don’t need a plan for those as they are open themed areas without queues.

Hey! Sorry I’m a bit behind. I admit I’m a bit confused as to what you are trying to do.

I get that you are trying to split a ticket in some way. Could you break it down for me a little clearer? Tickets are assigned to each person when you order them. If your package has a single ticket that grants entry into the parks during the day and the same ticket grants entry into HHN then it will be assigned to a single person. That ticket will get scanned with face recognition when it’s first used.

Does that help?

Like most theme park shows you need to arrive 30 minutes in advance for to guarantee admittance.

If you don’t have express pass for your HHN ticket, you should allot 45 - 60 minute per house. You’ll see 60 minute posted waits almost as a “standard” wait time all night. It can go much higher on popular houses at peak times like 8pm - 10pm

Your best bet for HHN wait time data is going to be thrill-data.com, but until mid-September there won’t be a good data pool for this year.

Also, you’ll want to do the stay & scream… that’s 100% the best strategy for getting everything done on one night.

That’s the start times for each house… choose where you want to start and that will tell you which holding area to enter. You must enter the holding area before 5pm, and the most popular houses will have people beginning the queue as early as 3:30.

I do not recommend getting in those queues… they’re in the sun and standing, and unless you’re in the frontish part of the line you’re going to spend your whole early entry time in line for that one house. A better strategy is to choose the houses the open early and don’t already have a huge line by 5pm… you can get through 3-4 houses in the first hour that way.

Great info, thanks!

Wow! I love this chart!

If I were going I would head over to the ET area first. You can knock out two houses and then get over to MIB for two more. I’d bet you would have these done in under 80 minutes

This is what I do so I vouch for it.

So i went and confirmed that those S&S locations and houses are incorrect.

NY enters near Minions and has the NY houses and Sweets. World Expo enters near Lombards for the houses in Simpsons/MiB. Today Cafe is sometimes used.

As of today holding areas seem to still be getting sorted… they put the signs out and had the arrows pointing the wrong way, and then at 5:10 (10 minutes after you’re supposed to be in) the line to scan into the NY zone (which had the entrance at Minions Cafe) was all the way down the road, and wrapped around past Hello Kitty and maybe halfway to 5 & Dime. It was pouring, and the line was barely moving (I was right about level with the old minions entrance) so I bailed to get dinner at Pat O’Briens.

The rain looks to be over around 7
