Heading to the hot tub. We’ll grab food at the pool bar if we’re hungry but we ate a lot today.
Ended the trip with a cream cheese pretzel with beer cheese. This is definitely a different pretzel than previous years. Not nearly as good.

Grabbing a late night bite at 3 bridges. Pool bar was closed. We just watched a 7 top ask to wait at the bar and go around and seat themselves at a table. DH just ratted them out

Just catching up on your report. You’ve done so much.
Three Bridges is yummy. Enjoy!

Beautiful picture. We really like CSR. We don’t do 3 bridges every time we stay there but like it a lot.

Thanks for the report and posting your food pics and reviews. My first solo trip I stayed at Coronado. The CM said she was putting me in Ranchos because it was pretty. I hadn’t done any research on the layout, so I said ok. It is so far away from food and drinks. I wanted coffee in the mornings while getting dressed, but I didn’t bother walking all the way up there. And I checked out at 3 or 4 in the morning. It was a long, dark walk to the main building. (Before the tower opened.)
It was creepy. I didn’t know they would have sent a CM to give me a ride.

It is beautiful. But I think we prefer smaller resorts or preferred location. Maybe if we could rent a golf

It is pretty and very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend for someone looking for that and just fine with a lot of extra walking. I would much prefer the Cabanas if we were to stay here again. The tower looks nice too.

Definitely! And dangerous. DH was commenting on just how many cacti were on the walking paths. He wondered how many people were injured from them. I almost ran in them… twice :grimacing:

It’s hard to go into detail on the fly, lol. I plan on adding a little more detail once we get settled back at home.

Waiting for a bus for Blizzard Beach. Going to play a round of mini-golf. Thinking the Summer side.
Also, we won the bid for the big comfy seats! First row. They wanted like $250 a seat when I first changed our flights. Yesterday when I went to check in they wanted $138 (or something similar). I won them at$30 a pop!
I’m glad I did. Although I was also going to look into upgrading them either way if they were available. DHs back will appreciate it.

Cute, cute course. Probably not worth $20 per person though :grimacing: DH had a round on his 2 day PH convention tix and I got the passholder discount. So we paid $17 total for the round. Waiting for the Coronado bis back, grab out bags and a quick bite to eat then call a Lyft.
We tend to cut it a bit close :joy: but we don’t have to check anything. Boarding starts at 3:30 for the 4:25 flight. So we have to leave Coronado around 1:50 at the latest. So less than an hour from now. Might have to settle for a grab and go snack.

Watch out for these fish. They squirt you.

Santa was snoring. I thought it was a bull frog at first.

DH had to make sure I knew the out of bounds rules. I got the penalty twice

That’s so cute. Marie and we’re supposed to do it in 2022 but we had a monsoon.

Ended up in an Uber JUST as the Coronado bus was coming.
Grabbed a chicken sandwich from quick service. Sandwich VERY good. This QS, not so much. Found out it’s not Disney owned and operated. Makes a ton of sense now. Grabbing our bags and waiting for the Uber.

Sad face :frowning:
But we had a good time… about as much of a good time as DH could handle. :joy:
See ya on the flip side!

Spirit big comfy seats. Big✅️ Comfy❓️ I’d be upset if I paid an ADDITIONAL $250 per seat when the least expensive pick your seat was $17. Still glad we have them. The extra leg room- especially in the front row is great. DH is 5’10". The seat closest to the window has juuuussssst a little less floor space. Also, front row has to put their stuff in the overhead bin for take off and landing. It can stay up there too.

Finally home!
We had a decent flight. Those big, comfy seats were decent. We had a drink and a snack box. After Disney prices a $10 beer and wine and a $10 variety snack box was cheap. The snack box actually had enough for DH and I to enjoy. I paid $10 for the wi-fi.

Frontier didn’t offer wi-fi on their flight. That was annoying, particularly going to Disney World when I want to SEE what’s going on in the World, make plans, etc. And the seats of Frontier were terrible. I had to pay extra to be in the front half of the plane.

The Spirit flight was delayed but the communication between Spirit in the terminal and Frontier was night and day. At Frontier it was chaotic. Even boarding with Spirit the crew at MCO had better communication. This was just based off of 1 Frontier flight MSY New Orleans to MCO Orlando and back but I say Spirit has it for the win. I wish I sat un a regular Spirit seat so I could compare the actual flight. (Not really).
I still love Southwest for the free bags and snacks. But if I could get those big comfy seats plus a carry on bag for a similar price as a SW flight… I would definitely consider it! I just don’t think that once you start adding up the add ons it will be close. The only reason those 2 budget airlines won out for us is because I wanted to see how little we could pack for a 3 night trip. Frontier and Spirit have that limited.
I ALMOST wasn’t able to make it with the 2 personal bag sizes (18"x14"x8" iirc). We were 2 adults and carry 2 quart size bags of liquids plus 1 more quart size bag of non liquid toiletries. Neither airline checked our bag size or cared about a fanny pack or purse. I probably could have gotten away with an extra fanny pack or if I had to wear a jacket- having a small purse under my jacket. We did bring DHs sandals for the pool. They take up A LOT of space. He wears a size 12 and these shoes didn’t squish. He doesn’t like flip flops but that would have saved a ton of space.

Also- my airport is better than yours MCO! MSY granted is brand new. But it is night and day. The bathrooms are Lux, the food and stores in each terminal while you are waiting to board are plentiful. The seating areas while waiting for your flight are just… better. Security is not as great but we also have far fewer flyers going through it. We are a smaller airport- still international though. If you ever have an option to connect and MSY is in the mix- you won’t be disappointed here.

Still trying to get my Memory Maker Purchase from December- the trip that I upgraded to an AP- to credit my Memory Maker on my AP. I paid more during my December trip than the AP Memory Maker price. If my AP starts at the begining of that trip- I don’t see why my Memory Maker purchase can’t count towards my AP. I’m not looking for a balance refund. But they should apply it. So far Ive been directed to 4 different contacts. Ill have to get this settled before my pictures from this trip fall off the app. Here’s a few that came with Genie+

The other GotG my hair was entirely covering my face, lol.
