We’re aware of the issues with the site, and we’re talking with Amazon on how to resolve it. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.

You’re so good to keep folks updated.
This is unusual in that the entire site can’t function. We get the occasional “bad gateway” error, but the site isn’t supposed to be down completely.
So the last time this happened, someone at Amazon deleted a file that Amazon needed to run our environment. (We had to send them our log files, in which their own code said something like “I can’t find this file that I’m supposed to find.”
I’ve asked them to look for an example of the same problem.
