We are going to be in WDW for Easter Sunday April 5 - Sat, April 11. Nearly everyday that week has an average crowd prediction of 5, except Tuesday, April 7, is predicted to be 8, with a 9 in MK. Why are the crowds predicted to be much heavier on just that particular Tuesday?

If I had to guess, I would say the crowds probably will look like an 8 or 9 for that entire week. That’s not to say that it will be too crowded to have a great time–we have, you can 
.
Maybe they are still doing updates, and it will be more accurate if you check back closer to the time of your trip?

You need to go back and look at the actuals for last year … adjusting for the date shift for Easter Sunday you get this, which shows similar bumps in the crowd level:
That’s not entirely accurate since many districts have set spring breaks in March or early April. Easter was late last year so I’d actually those crowds would be lower than this year with it being early.
It seems that most Colleges have Spring Break in March and Florida schools have break in mid-March, so I was feeling good about the Easter week having lower crowds compared to when we have gone in March in the past (for AAP conferences). I’m curious how these crowd predictions will shake out!

Our schools around my area always have it either the week before Easter, or the week after. It doesn’t matter when Easter falls.

In the UK, although England and Scotland have different holidays, usually it would be around Easter too. 2 weeks leading up to Easter, a week either side or 2 weeks after.
This year it’s mostly the latter in Scotland, and straddling Easter in England. So everyone will have that post Easter week off.
