How much better is tron at night? My only chance to ride it at night will be during MNSSHP, but I’m not sure I want to deal with the stress of trying to time a later BG. Would be much easier to use bg1 and ride earlier. Sunset is expected to be around 7:34pm when I’m going…

It’s not that different. The majority of the ride is indoors. TRON looks cooler to non riders at night, but the outdoor section is so short and so fast…I wouldn’t create stress to time a night ride.
Agreed that it’s not different enough to be worth worrying about. Definitely go look around at night, but the ride experience is virtually identical apart from like 8 seconds outdoors.
I HIGHLY recommend using BG1 and arriving first thing in the morning (first BG is usually called around 8:45am for a 9am official opening - you can usually do one EE ride and then report). The line grows exponentially after 9am until it is about an hour by 10am and stays there for most of the day.
If you want to ride in the evening, buy an ILL. My plan going forward is to do BG1 in the morning and ILL at night to ride twice in a day whenever possible.
Thanks!! There are no ILLs during the party though and it’s the only night we will be in Magic Kingdom so unfortunately we have to depend on the 6pm VQ only…
I think I will just use BG1 to get the first BG of the party and then we can walk around later 
I would still get an ILL for the time before the party starts if you can. You will probably wait an hour with a VQ unless you are lucky (which has been known to happen 
)
Great idea! I forgot that I could buy it between 4 and 6pm, still won’t be night but at least I don’t have to wait an hour in line…
