Trip Planning - Going in circles and need some help

Hi Everyone,

I’m planning a trip in March 2020 and struggling with figuring out our high level plan. We are staying in a 2-bedroom at BLT and looking to take advantage of the location. 2 Families (4 adults, 2-7YO, 2-4YO). Also, we are pretty set on taking breaks because we think the kids will burn out. Below are a few options we are thinking about. Can someone help with what you think may be a good option or where i should adjust one of these?

Option 1 (1 week - 5 day no park hopper)
3/7 3/8 3/9 3/10 3/11 3/12 3/13 3/14
AM HS (EMH) AK (EMH) MK Break/ HS MK(EMH)
Break Arrival 1:00-4:00 1:00-4:00 1:00-4:00 Pool Day 1:00-4:00 1:00-4:00 Depart

Option 2 (1 week - 5 day park hopper)

Option 3 (1 week - 6 day park hopper)

IMO a whole week of RD’ing is too much, even with a daily afternoon break. Taking a break on your MK days will be easy since you are at BLT. I would consider on 1 or 2 of your HS or AK days to start later in the day and stay until close instead of RD’ing and returning after a break. You might not need a whole day with no park if you are able to sleep in on 1 or 2 days. You could do the 6 day ticket since it’s not too much more than the 5 day.

I am with pkitt…we love the parks at closing time! You may find a couple of “sleep in” “lazy mornings” make your trip so much better! We have always been a rope drop family, but last year we took a few mornings and slept in…and closed parks after 11pm! It was amazing and fun! We are repeating that in 28 days! A few rope drop days in the beginning of the trip, and then some lazy morning followed up with closing the place down!

We did 3 early mornings in a row and it crushed my 10 year old!!! By the 4th day was a pool day and she was ready for bed by 6:30!!!

I should mention we are usually a rope drop family!!!
