Trip creating TA's

Are there any TA’s that will create and plan a trip for Places like New Orleans? I mean you let them know what you want as far a date, time and flights, as well as hotel and city tours like gray line bus service?

I’m sure their are. But I’ve been in the New Orleans area all my life. I don’t do a ton in the down town part but know people that do. If that’s where you are looking feel free to ask any questions.

Hi thanks for answering. Years ago, my wife and I took a senior bus trip to New Orleans. We did some things that were planned for the whole bus. Now I have been looking to go back but want the trip planned my way. This means Delta Airline round trip, A nice hotel near or on Burbon St. and setting up tours via Greyline bus tours. Example: Mansion tours, Ghost walk tours and such. I am looking for a TA that can not only book these things but can make suggestions and scheduling. TA’s are more than happy to book for you these days but planning a vacation for a client is a different story. If you know of someone that does this, let me know. Just in the maybe stage right now so don’t go to the extreme on this. Thanks.

I have no experience with Greyline Bus tours. There are several nice hotels in the area. Personally, I would figure out the things you want to do and see what hotels are closest to the dining options you choose.
Decatur is more my vibe.

I know a couple but I’ll check if they handle New Orleans things (they should!).
Generally, many will do a consult free of charge.

As with @drvillarejos I grew up in the New Orleans area and agree this can be easily tackled on your own.

The list of things I normally tell people to check out includes

  • WWII museum
  • Haunted History Tours
  • Aquarium of the Americas
  • Riverfront Park
  • Jackson Square
  • St. Louis Cathedral
  • French Market
  • Frenchman street bar/music crawl
  • City Park - Storyville, botanic gardens, Museum Of Art and all the things in that little area.
  • Alligator/Swamp tours

All these things can so easily be done on your own. Much is walkable in and around the French Quarter, swamp tours can include pickups and the City Park is easily reachable by street car

All great suggestions!
Also, if you like historical museums, I love suggesting the Historic New Orleans Collection. Another fun think to do is take an evening cruise or Champagne brunch cruise on the Riverboat.

I live just outside of New Orleans and in the past I’ve brought out of town guests to New Orleans School of Cooking for their demo classes, about 2.5 hours and their website shows about $45 per person
