Transportation from MCO to Cabana Bay

Looking for recommendations for the best way to get from Orlando airport to Cabana Bay resort. I’m thinking UBER or LYFT or Taxi. We will be a large group of 6-8 adults and 2 tweens with luggage. We are willing to split up. I’m not familiar with either UBER or LYFT - any preferences?

Thanks in advance for advice.

I am actually looking into this myself. The company I see recommended often is Quicksilver Tours and Transportation Orlando - with a large family with luggage, regular Uber/Lyft simply won’t work unless you have maybe 4-5 cars.

We actually need 3-way service, which they do: MCO - Universal - WDW - MCO. Prices seem reasonable as well.

Thanks for your response and for the helpful links. I agree Quicksilver seems like a good way to go. And a grocery stop would be an added benefit!

We paid 40ish for family of 5 to get from MCO to royal pacific. We got a Lyft plus (bigger vehicle). You’d need two of those so price them and compare to other options. Took 5 minutes to get picked up.

Thanks for the info

We used QuickSilver transportation and it worked out fine. Our two families of 4 arrived on different airlines, and at different terminals, but within about 30 mins of each other, and Quicksilver was very accommodating with that. We opted not to do the grocery stop with all of us. Some of the group used Uber later that evening and went to Walmart. It certainly saves some money to get your own breakfast items, water and snacks for the parks.
