Interesting! My wife and I were almost going to try to get into Trade Sam’s for dinner (well, basically to try the potstickers and Ohana noodles), but the daunting “lining up hours ahead” swayed us not to. Always thought it was weird that a place SO in demand wouldn’t open until 3.
(Ultimately, we went to Kona Cafe instead and got THEIR potstickers, which many folks rate more highly than Ohana’s/Trader Sam’s…only for us to learn…we don’t really like potstickers!!!)

Yes. We kept hearing about how good they are from Disney in Detail and other vloggers, so we wanted to try them. We tried them. Now we know.

I’m stupid. When I first read this thread, I was thinking Tambu Lounge, not Trader Sam’s! Same resort, both start with a T.

Easy to confuse. And they both have potstickers! (Well, Sam’s calls them pan-fried dumplings.)
With the “Join the Walk-up List”, do you still need to wait in line a hour before open, or do you just join the digitial list right at 3?

It now opens at 11. Are you not going until 3?
In the past i would get in line around 2:00 and give my name and then get a call back when my time was up. Which could vary from 1 hour to 2 hours.
I am wondering if i join the virtual waitlist when would the call back be?
Is there an advantage to waitling in the real line at say 10:00, or is that now not needed with the virtual line
