Hey All, looking forward to visiting Disney and Universal during the last two weeks of August. I’m trying to build a plan for Epic and, for some reason, TP is giving me a 173 min Free Time after my first ride and I can’t figure out why. I have not selected any breaks or meals. Can anyone help?
If you have a large gap of time that usually means you do not have enough attractions scheduled. Either shorten your hours or add attractions and see what happens.
I have 13 attractions selected. There is a message at the top of the screen saying that I have too many attractions selected and won’t be able to get them in time.
If you publish your plan maybe someone would see something?
Are you Optimizing or Evaluating? If you are Evaluating, then, according to TP’s data, the first show for Le Cirque Arcanus isn’t until 1:45 in the afternoon. You’d either need to Optimze, which should insert things in between, or fill in some things to do between Curse of The Werewolf and Le Cirque.
Thanks to everyone for all of the replies, based in the UK so was asleep!
Maybe I should clarify a few things, I have a total of 13 attractions in the list. My day is set to start at park open and end at park close. I am Optimising the plan.
This plan is for Sunday 24th August, when crowd levels at Epic are reported as a 4.
Please see screenshot of my entire plan.
This plan has you going from land to land an awful lot. I would try modifying your settings to minimize walking, and set your walking speed slowed, then try optimizing again.
You might also try changing your end time to be earlier by a couple hours (which you can use as a cushion if things go away).
You also need to put in some breaks and/or times for food. (I like to use breaks for approximate times you would want to eat so when you optimize, it will allocate time for it, but plan your rides around it…then once you know what land you will be in for those breaks, replace the breaks with the eatery and then evaluate instead.
I found the issue, I was using the Minimise Waiting option rather than “Balance”.
Thank you for this tip, very helpful. I’ll give it a shot. So much to squeeze into a single day ![]()
