Toy Story Mania after Jedi Training Sign Up

If HS allows Jedi Training sign up at 8:30am without opening up the rest of the park, can we sign up for Jedi Training and then get in line for Toy Story Mania before the park opens or before the line gets long? We’ve been at HS when the entire park opened early at 8:30 and by the time we’d signed up for Jedi Training the line for Toy Story Mania was already long, but I’m wondering how it works if they allow early entry only for Jedi Training sign-up.

If you are one of the first ones to sign up for Jedi, you should be able to get to Toy Story and ride with minimal wait, unless it’s one of the busiest times of year.

You are not going to be allow to leave the Jedi signup area until the RD crowd reaches the area in the big plaza. They merge the crowds before the stairs to TSMM.

That’s really good to know. Where are the stairs to TSMM? I’m not remembering any stairs, but it’s been years. After Jedi sign-up do we go back out to the center of the park or do we head to TSMM by going around the side of the park?

The stairs lead down from the plaza (where the hat used to be) on the right to Pixar Place. There will be CMs leading the way to keep people from running.
