Touring Plans says not to use one lightning lanes

Do I just delete that lightning lane?

Really depends on the context. Do you want to share a public link to your plan here so we can take a look?

Personally I usually manually input my LL times. But if an automated step is invalid or messing up your plan, yes - you can delete it and “Evaluate.” Or try re-optimizing to see if it goes away (and if you’re ok having the rest of the order mixed up).

There are several scenarios on how this occurs that center around how the LL was created

  1. During an optimization run did the scheduler create the LL and then turned around and decided it was not an optimum choice (yes this does happen)? … OR …
  2. Outside of the scheduler did you choose a LL on your own, add it manually and then during an optimizer run the system decided it was not an optimum choice?

Sharing a read only link to your plan would be helpful. Also, please post the full message that the optimizer generated regarding the decision it made.

If you want to dig in deeper, with the LL still configured go into the advanced options and set the flag Force Use of Inputted Lightning Lane Return Times and run the optimizer again. By comparing the wait times for that particular attraction you should get a better idea of what is happening.

As always, if you using an App as opposed to the Web interface, make sure you are on the latest version as there have been several recent updates to the LL functionality.
