We are planning a trip in November and found the MVMCP take up a number of dates that we are in Disney. How do most people plan their trips to Magic Kingdom during those days when not attending the after hours party? We have young children so park hopping is possible but probably would only result in a few hours at the 2nd park.
We went to MK on 2 party days last fall but did not attend the party with littles. We did RD to mid-late afternoon each day. Had a TS lunch each day. 1 of the days we watched FoF parade. Then we had pool time and dinner at the resort. Worked well for us.
I would say that if you are going to the MK on a party day and not staying for the party, plan on leaving between 4:00 and 5:00. After that it’s just too crowded to be much fun (in my opinion).
