Touring Plan assumes Express Pass is available during EPA at IOA

When I create a TP for IOA, it assumes I will be using Express Pass during EPA. It was my understanding that the Express Pass lanes are NOT open during EPA except at peak times like Christmas. Is that correct?

Express Pass (UXP) is available during EPA. You could RD Hagrid’s without it and then get in the UXP queue for a second ride even before EPA ends.

Or if you don’t feel like jogging all the way to Hagrid’s you can just get in the UXP lane to start the day.

Or RD VelociCoaster and then use UXP for Hagrid’s during EPA as the queue grows quickly.

FJ will not have any noticeable wait during EPA.

Thanks for this info; it’s really helpful. I am definitely not jogging to Hagrid’s. Maybe UXP line at Hagrid’s followed by FJ.

I totally get it! It’s truly all the way in the back of the park. They’ll be hundreds of people “fast walking / jogging” a lot of the way at RD! (I confess I’ve done it multiple times!! :man_running: :dashing_away: :rofl: )

It’s quite a hike! I’ve been doubled over catching my breath for 5 minutes after doing it while in queue!! :rofl:
