Took me a minute to find my trip report that might be helpful!

My first piece of advice is fly SAS if you have not already booked flights. They were AMAZING!

How old are your kids? I will try and find some links of the places we went that I would recommend.

awesome, thank you so much !

Kids will be 3, 6 and 14

Ok wide age range but hovering around the ages of mine who were 5 and 8 when we went. Do you have lodgings settled?

We stayed in Copenhagen and also in Mommark which is southern Denmark. The farthest afield we went was up to Lego Haus in Billund. We did not actually do Legoland. I think with a 14 year old you would definitely want to do the Haus instead.

This Viking museum was one of the most memorable spots of the trip. There should be something for everybody there.

Copenhagen was neat and you do not need to know any English to get by!

This is a must in Copenhagen. Do at least an hour and bring food and drink. It was so fun.

I re-read my own trip report. Advice for Tivoli:

  1. I think that the unlimited ride bands are worth it probably for your older kids.
  2. Watch the height restrictions. Some of the rides are VERY intense like beyond Universal in my opinion.
  3. There are tons of food options so you will not go hungry. It was very non-crowded when we went and I was surprised that they were all open. So that was quite nice.
  4. There are lots of arcade and sort of family-gambling games everywhere so just set your expectations with your kids about if you will play them.
  5. One day is probably plenty.

Yes wide age range, makes things difficult sometimes. We just came back from WDW and it went pretty well though.

I am still debating many things but for now I am thinking 1 week in Copenhagen (will likely get an air b&b in Indre By) followed by 1 week in Stockholm, Sweden.

That is VERY useful, thank you !!!

Sounds like a good plan!

Book ahead on any ferries you might need. You will need one if you go to Legoland/Haus. I was not impressed with the train options throughout Denmark but you definitely won’t need a car if you stay in Copenhagen.

Just thought of one more thing. They are not kidding when “they say” that food is expensive in Denmark. It’s VERY expensive and I’m from Boston and obviously have been to WDW. It’s crazy. We spent quite a bit more than we planned.

Thanks, yeah I read that multiple places too. I think we’ll get an airbnb and do breakfast at ‘‘home’’ and bring picnics for lunches and only go to restaurants for dinner…
