Tips on getting a reservation for the V&A Chef's Table

I am helping out a friend with some planning, and they would like to eat at the V&A Chef’s Table. I have never managed to get a reservation for that, even with getting on-line at 6:00am and looking at the full 180+10 days out. Are there any tips on getting this reservation, for example:

  • Are they not available right away (like the Fantasmic Dine reservations), so you have to keep checking back?

  • Do you need to call the restaurant directly to book?

I know that our resident WDW dining expert @bswan26 has eaten at the Chef’s Table, so maybe he has some Jedi Dining Tricks. :slight_smile:
