Wondering if people have advice for me, I’m planning on rope dropping Hollywood Studios to do Slinky Dog and Toy Story Mania, then I was hoping to catch the 9:30 AM Frozen show… which would put me at about 10:30 am to hop on transportation.
Will I then enough time to take the Skyliner to Epcot and walk to Garden & Grill for a 12:15 PM lunch reservation?
If the weather sucks and the Skyliner is down, same question: will I have enough time to take the bus to Epcot and walk to Garden & Grill for a 12:15 lunch reservation?
10:30 to 12:15 is definitely enough time to get from Frozen to GG via skyliner. If they have buses running instead I’d say it’s probably still possible, but would also depend on the route. Worst case you could Uber/Lyft between them.
We hopped from HS to Epcot around 2pm a couple of weeks ago and since the Skyliner was down we took the Friendship Boat. It stops three times before reaching Epcot so it took nearly 40 min. Skyliner is usually a little faster. Walking is fastest (around 25 min) but a lot less pleasant in the heat (or rain)!
It’s around 15 min walk from IG to Garden Grill (plus/minus 5 if you’re going very fast or very slowly). So total time shouldn’t be more than an hour, bar any major delay.
You’ve got a 15 min grace period for dining reservations.
Wow, thank you @LTinNC82, @NTEI and @OBNurseNH . This information is very helpful. Makes me feel better knowing whichever way I need to go: Skyliner, friendship boat, walking or bus, I should make it.
Using time stamped photos I can say I was eating a bbq beef brisket bowl at Fairfax fare at 11:32, on the Skyliner approaching Caribbean beach at 11:59, and on the monorail leaving Epcot at 12:30.
