Starting today, Universal will be using the same ticket pricing model at WDW. You’ll pay based on the day of the weeks you are going and get an overall total at check out.
If you have already bought tickets for an upcoming trip you can check the price. If it is lower to buy the new date based tickets Universal will refund that portion of the ticket.
For guests that can’t “pin down” a specific date Universal will have flex options available that are valid for up to one year from purchase.
I did notice their ‘special offer tickets’ are not date based. But, they did come down in price a little bit.
They’ve done this in the past, I thought.
Only for single day tickets. Now it seems to be expanded for multiple days.
Since the special offer may not last forever and it dropped in $, I made the purchase.
Now I am covered for next year. Tickets good for any week in the next 12 months.
