You know there is something extra magical about arriving at AK in the late afternoon. I am almost always there morning > early afternoon and then leave. But there is some magic there later.
(And of course, would love if they brought back night time. Remember Rivers of Light?!)

Very fondly. It was perfect for those of us who love lights and music but don’t like the overstimulation of fireworks. And crowd control was awesome. And a place to sit…

They are setting up to film something behind the Tree of Life. They have security blocking that back walk way.
Had a great Safari. Grabbing a few beers than to Everest

I wanted to tell you, IF you have some free time and a park Tix one evening, y’all would really like the Tree of Life Awakenings. It’s not as spectacular as Fantasmic but the projections and music is fantastic.

About the ToL Awakings… EVERYONE huddles up front by the tree. We hung back by the exits to the shops. Seating wasn’t a problem and the view was very good.
AK is beautiful at night but the food and drink options are very limited after 5pm.
I’m learning to appreciate Navi. They could have taken this approach at the ride thru on Tianas.
