I appreciate all of the responses! We usually go the first week of December. This year, we’ll be there from the 13th to the 19th and plan to go to the MK on the 16th. I am still mildly concerned that I won’t be able to get the PP on that day. Only Disney could make me anxious to want to spend a ridiculous amount of money.

First of all, the split stay should not affect you being able to book for your whole stay. And if for whatever reason it does, one call to Disney will sort it out.
So the day you are looking to buy PP is basically 7+ x days. I would not worry about not getting PP. The week before Christmas is not that bad. Attendance is much higher after Christmas.
On a less optimistic note: During Spring Break, MK PP sold out for a good number of days definitely more than 7 (check Trill data). The December 2025 data, even if you could find it, would not be a good indicator for Dec 2026. Much more people are considering buying PPs this year than they did last year.
A few days before your booking date, I would check out PP availability to get a feel of what is going on.

I’ve been in that time frame several times and it’s a great time to go. It’s before the parks get super crowded. I didn’t have any problems using LLMP at DHS or MK last year and getting the rides we wanted.

LL day huge success but need help with BG1. I booked everything in MDE just trying to modify a few times in BG1 and is saying network request failed. Anyone having success with BG1 today? Is it just me?

That happens from time to time and it can be either user specific or network wide. Use MDE in the meantime but keep trying BG1 a few hours apart. For me it seemed to reset each day.
