Agreed! @janamelia what a wonderful word “thingamawidget”
I have not seen current drop times recently. Can I post what I found from 8 months ago and have it confirmed?
Go for it!

Big Thunder: 8:48am, 1:48pm
Remy: 1:48 (rarely)

Thank you!!
Thanks for this data! FYI - there is a pinned thread in the La Cava section of the forum where drop times are discussed. I prefer to keep this thread focused on LL basics and broad strategies, and leave the “advanced” strategies to other threads. I’m going to cross-post your reply to the other thread so that the discussion can be continued there.
Thanks @Jeff_AZ and I’m sorry about that. I had checked Cava first but didn’t see it. Will head back over there.
No worries! Thanks again. ![]()
Question for the group: If I pre-book two attractions instead of three, for example Frozen & Nemo at Epcot, and check into Nemo at 9am, will I be able to make two more LL reservations immediately? Or is the system restricted to the “use one to get one” rule?
Any first hand knowledge on this?
You will be able to book your third one at any time, including after you tap into Nemo. The system is designed to allow you to hold up to three active LLs per day at all times (excluding expired ones, which may still be valid if in the grace period).
Sorry, I wrote that poorly. Since I’ll be holding one tier 1 and one tier 2, I cannot pre-book another tier 1 as my 3rd selection. After I tap into the first one, in this case Nemo at 9am, tiers are unlocked/go away, and I will have just the Frozen LL remaining. At that point will I be able to reserve both Test Track and Remy’s(or any other combination) if they’re available? Or will I only be able to reserve one because I tapped into one?
Sorry, I understood your question but wasn’t clear in my response. When you tap into Nemo, you will be able to book TT and Remy (if available) while still holding Frozen. You can always hold three LLs, even if you don’t prebook 3.
It’s also worth noting that you can add the third prebook any time before you tap in to your first one as well (but it is tier-restricted).
Thank you. Do you have any source for this information, as I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Undercover Tourist explicitly mentions that you have to use one to book one and this reddit thread insinuates the same.
The reason I ask is because if someone is looking to book a few Tier 1’s for a day, wouldn’t it make more sense to pre-book only 2 LLs with one of them being as early in day as possible so that you can immediately book 2 more Tier 1’s back to back after tapping into the first? That seems like a strategy I feel like I would’ve read about, but haven’t.
I just did a quick search but couldn’t find it explicitly stated in an official source. Here is what I have in the lead post of this thread:
While I can’t guarantee there are no errors, all information I included in the lead post was vetted from either official sources (i.e., Disney), trusted sources (notably Scott Gustin, a parks reporter on Twitter), or multiple first-person accounts from Liners. In this case, I most likely got the initial information from Scott but it has been proved many times by Liners, including myself. You can fill your three pre-book spots any time. I think the other sources you cited, for simplicity are assuming you will arrive at the park with three pre-books.
This strategy is widely discussed in the “Advanced Strategies” thread in the La Cava section of the forum, which is worth checking out if you haven’t read through it yet.
Note that you can also fill all three pre-books if you prefer, but immediately modify the other two as soon as you tap into the first one, which has the same effect as leaving the third spot open but you have something as a backup in case you can’t get what you want.
Good point on that last bit, ty.
I do want to point out that I am very happy that you cannot Google or search other resources and find the tips liners have tested over the years. Once some strategies are well known, they lose all value.
Yes and no. It depends on the park. Some Tier 2 rides like ToT, TSMM, Pooh will sell out early and if you don’t book those with your initial 3 you may not get them day of.
The trick is to book as early as possible and tap in to a ride so you clear tier and park restrictions.
Everything @Jeff_AZ says is true and tested.
I made the group changes due to the reopening of TT permanent and updated the order of priority for a few attractions in MK, EP, and HS based on the latest trends.
I just want to add, I’ve looked at Sorin availability since TT opened. It isn’t quite as good as it once was but availability is still great for a Group A Tier 2 attraction.
I can confirm this is possible as I used this strategy this past week. I had a Figment and an FEA booked, rode Figment and then booked Soarin and Remy.
Ooh - @JenniferB1975 makes an excellent point. The Tier 2 at MK are harder to get than most Tier 1. Same at HS, they move later, faster than the Tier 1.
we’re 61 days out from another trip (yes getting up <5am for dining tomorrow). I’m trying to wrap my head around the planning for the new system. I was a pro at G+ in 2024, but now I feel like it’s all thrown away…
My main thing I want to ask is about the ability to book any open time. I think I’m correct that either pre-booking or live booking you can choose any available slot, right? Is there any rationale for not just booking the soonest slot if you’re going RD to dinner? Question applies to both prebook and live.
I can see PH maybe going for later, and I’m up to speed on looking for 9am and tapping to release tiers and PH. Otherwise it certainly simplifies things to just go with next available, but I can’t shake the feeling I might be missing something.
