Correct. Easier to think if you check in on Monday you can pre-book on the previous Monday.

To be clear … it’s 7:00 am Eastern time.

Thank you. I’m in the Eastern time zone; we all just arrogantly assume Eastern time for everything.

Reminds me of that map of the US that shows a gigantic NYC and everything else small.

Does this need amendment? Tron no longer uses VQ?

While you’re in there, might as well fix a typo, since the rest of your text is practically flawless.

Thanks! I have updated both of these items.

We have date based tickets where we had to make park reservations. Does that mean I can’t get a VQ for GotG if I don’t have a Epcot reservation?

For the 7am VQ, yes. For the 1pm, you have to have visited Epcot at some point before you apply.

On days when I need an APR but I’m not starting at EP, I often buy an LLSP.

Right now two VQs are being used. Are you allowed to snag both at the beginning of the day? (It’s still a day-of 7:00am thing, right?)

No, you can only hold 1 at a time.

Yes

@Jeff_AZ Would it be worth adding this info (one at a time, and time when booking opens) to the OP?

ETA; Can you tell I have a trip coming up and I’m just now starting to study up on all this year’s changes? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Here’s what the WDW website says:

  • Guests may hold boarding groups for an attraction virtual queue and a virtual queue for other select experiences at the same time, when available.
  • Guests can only hold one attraction virtual queue at a time. Once the attraction virtual queue is redeemed, Guests can join another attraction virtual queue, if available.

So if it’s a ride, you can only get one. If it’s an experience (meet Santa, merch), you can hold more than one.

There is no longer two VQs within one park since Tron dropped it. For practical purposes, it would be impossible to get both GotG and Tiana because you’d have to switch your park reservation within 3 seconds.

Edit: oh but you do have to use your 7am GotG before getting a 1pm for Tiana, or vice versa.

But people who don’t need park reservations could get two attraction VQs (at 7:00am) in different parks if Disney allowed it, no?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Well poo. We had hoped to do LLSP and a VQ for Guardians both days but the second day we didn’t plant to go to Epcot until the evening.

Do LLSPs ever/often sell out before day-of?

Here’s the data for GotG:

Day 7 is 11/17. There is nothing left for today or tomorrow. So you can usually get whatever you want if you are onsite, might be limited to afternoon / evening if you are offsite. (But if you’re there in the morning, I recommend BG anyway.)

Some days there is day-of availability:

Here’s the site in case you want to check other attractions:

Sorry, how do you get that availability date list? Is it a computer view? This one?
