The Lightning Lane Thread! All WDW Info Here

I am not trying to make a point. I was asking questions because I didn’t want to make gumptions on how the system worked or cost. It is not something I will buy. But I am wondering, if for the people that will pay for this, it will make a trip to DLR more desirable than WDW and increase usage.

Ok I see. You are correct that the cost per ride at WDW is cheaper. $400 / ~50 rides = $8 / ride. Vs. $1100 / ~50 rides = $22 / ride.

That said, I suspect it won’t drive a lot of activity either way. As mentioned, using regular LLMP and LLSP is relatively easy and much cheaper at DLR, so it doesn’t make economical sense to buy LLPP for most guests, though of course a small number will trade $$ for convenience and less stress.

I think the same math will be done at WDW – guests generally drop more on a WDW so paying more for four days of LLPP may make sense to those guests (or they may select certain days to splurge.) Just a guess.

I heard the LL price list is scheduled 3 weeks out. Where can I find that information? I’m still weighing buying LLMP for MK on a party day (for the daytime hours 9a-6p). TP has a crowd day of 3 planned and may of the party days are at a 2. I may not need it if crowd sizes are lowish and wait times are reasonable, after all that’s why we are going on a party day, but it could help a bit for rides like HM, Tianas, PP etc. I’m easier to convince to buy at $25-27 each much harder to convince at $35-37 each I think

WDWMagic is tracking this, showing Multi and Single passes. They’ll add the Premier too.

Random question: the Touring Plans tracker is showing LLMP as Not Available for Jungle Cruise starting November 4th (as opposed to Gone) and through all open days in the range. I know it just re-opened. Is it possible that it’s totally booked for the duration of the window? Or has anyone heard it’s going offline again? (Holiday overlay installation)?

Look for a separate attraction called Jingle Cruise. They may have forgotten to load it.

The Jingle Cruise overlay is supposed to be done by Nov 2 so I don’t think the ride is closed for the overlay. Maybe Disney is calling the LL Jingle Cruise instead of Jungle Cruise and this is impacting how TP sees the LL.

Lightning Lane question: if someone else in my group purchases LLMP for a particular day, would I still be able to modify the selections later on?

Do you mean can you modify someone’s LLs that you are linked to, even if you weren’t the one that purchased?

I believe the answer is Yes. Anyone you have shared plans with can book and modify LLs and VQs together. We do this frequently at Liner Meets.

That is not the case with ADRs, though – only the person who booked can modify.

The one thing I’m not sure about is LLSPs - I’ve never tried to modify someone else’s LLSP. It may function like an ADR or maybe it’s more like a LL.

Awesome, thanks! I have to rely on other family members to help with booking LLs, because of time zone sadness, so I just wanted to make sure I could still modify after they’ve purchased.

Has anyone had a recent trip longer than 14 days? Do we know when you can prebook for day 15, 16 etc?

We have a UK 14 day ticket, which we will be using within an 18day period. Staying onsite all 18 days. Is it rolling one extra day at a time?
For ADRs we book first 10 days at the 60 day mark and every following day, a new day opens up.

It will be one day at a time for each day after you book your initial 14 days on day -7 for onsite guests, same as you described for ADRs.

Wait, so there’s yet another LL flavor now? LLPP? Dang, I need to go read up… but I already saw the pricing :flushed: definitely will not be buying that.

Sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere. Just want to make sure I’m calculating correctly.

If, say, you’re checking in on the 17th, then you can pre-book starting at 7:00am on the 10th? Is that right? (So you’re not counting check-in day itself as a day.)
