I have a space heater as well.
It doesn’t go under my desk, but sometimes I place it between me and my keyboard.
And I often put my sweater over it for a few minutes to have that right-from-the-dryer coziness!

Every time I hear about space heaters under desks I remember when I was doing security shifts while in university.
One weekend they sent me to a courier company’s distribution hub.
Saturday: find the security entrance was slapped on the side of the building and it was totally uninsulated,
Sunday: I brought a heater in my gym bag and under the desk it went.
Got cold, flipped it on. Started to build up heat and - out go the lights. In the entire garage and shipping office. Systems down.
…well that heater went back in the bag pretty darn quick.

Someone on chat posted some video clips from the testing. Looked like several big bursts and some lower ones as well. Didn’t look like show run, but may just placement testing? I’m excited either way!
