The crystal palace for dinner?

Thoughts on The Crystal Palce in WDW for dinner? Can you see any of the fireworks. Can you go outside for them?

CP is not a great choice for fireworks viewing. This is more about the character experience inside. At best, you’d have an obstructed view of the castle, but more likely no view from inside. Since the focus is on the character meets, and the place is incredibly busy everyday, I don’t think they’d encourage diners to leave the tables to watch the show, then come back. They want to turn the tables over.
This is in stark contrast to a place like California Grill. Different dining experience all together, with a strong focus on the view.

The only reason to go to CP is for the character interaction.

And the puffed french toast (breakfast).

We have returned to Crystal palace to watch the fireworks from the porch and really liked not having to deal with the crowds in front of the castle
