I had missed the new episodes and listen to three of them this morning.
I have a question about rope drop. I have not made it to toe drop since I read about a change. Are they still allowing on site guests in early and having them queue in attraction lines before the attraction open? I know I have a friend that walked to GotG and waited in the queue for them to open at EE.

I’ve been loving this podcast since the first episode. It’s such a great format! It’s a really clever way of being able to discuss both the pros and cons of things that absolutely have both, and that may be for some people but not for everyone.

EP - through security at 7:30 and tapped in within minutes of that. Then approximately 8AM they let us go from where they had us wait near guest relations and let us queue at the ride.

HS - held at Taps til 8AM then we could go directly to the ride.

SDD opened by 8:12AM one of our days, CL predicted 5 and actual 3. Not that busy.
MK - held at Taps and then directly to rides.

In Aug w/8:30 open, they started loading trains 8:24AM.
In Nov w/7:30 open we were off at 7:32AM.
AK - nightmare
First held at security. Then held at taps. Then held at actual rope near Pandora. Then walked in a fast-moving mob lead by CM’s with that rope. 10/10 do not recommend.

If I were going to plan EE as my first ride I would probably not get there an hour before park open, unless it were a very busy time of year.
I’d come maybe 10 mins and then just head to that ride. When we got to EE at 8:30AM (with 7:30AM open) it was walk on. HTH.

Yes, that sounds right. I was wondering since the podcast episode, I believe, in discussing rope drop, may have reference the old method.
