Talk to me about the Poly!

Sit on the hill circled in red. Not crowded. Music. Bring a drink!

Cabins do not block view at all

I like Aotearoa - 3rd floor for a balcony (I have “a thing” for balconies)…

Do other people go to the beach to the left of the spot @OBNurseNH has recommended?

And where can I get a drink that’s nearby?

EWP is a bit blocked by cabins

Am I right in thinking that at the Poly, at least, there really aren’t any bad rooms?

Eh. I wouldn’t want something too close to TTC (ferry noise) or facing parking lot.

They didn’t mention that when I booked. Despite it only being a “standard” room, the blurb mentioned lush greenery.

Standard view rooms are all good . The rooms on the ferry side are DVC.

Parking lot is DVC too.

Trader Sam’s, yeah? That’s the closest, and also on my bucket list.

Trader’s is a lot of fun and has very good drinks. As a note all they serve for food is fairly small app plates. It’s fine for something to munch on while you enjoying a drink, but I wouldn’t plan on it as a “meal” (unless you ordered a bunch of them, and that could get pricey).
