I shipped mine home for $18 and was glad I did. So much less stressful to not have to lug it around the airport. It arrived in like 2 weeks.

Pre- Galaxy’s Edge we bought a really nice light saber for dh (just me and the kids, dh voluntarily stayed home). We took the AutoTrain home so it traveled safely in the car.
I suspect dh will want to experience Savi’s once he finally gets back to WDW. We usually take the train so he theoretically won’t have deal with shipping, but it’s good to know it’s an option if we fly.

We shipped it and the droids. They are expensive and we didn’t want to take the chance that they could get broken or lost on the way home. We had plenty of luggage to manage without them too.

I completely agree! I could spend days there, just walking around, seeing the things.
The Outer Rim is your drink! It’s not “too” anything. But it is strong. One drink is great. I thought how delicious it was and that surely I could (and should) get another. Halfway through the second drink it all came down on me like a ton of bricks. So, more than one, less than two

I have never tried but is it safe to assume you can have things shipped from the front desk of any resort?

Lots of us have done so! And we spoke with Savi’s and they said either way (through them or the resort) was fine and essentially the same service. So we opted to wait until after we had the Droids too and did it all at once. It was quick and easy. But please don’t ask me what it cost 
I could dig out my receipt which I am safeguarding with my LIFE but that’s a lot of effort

Yeah this is what I was thinking, often I buy things at several different locations and have things individually shipped. I would think doing it all at once would be the cheaper option. Thanks
