Can you walk from the Swolphin to the Boardwalk area? I thought you could; DH is thinking you can’t.

From your ending point, am I correct to say-follow the boardwalk to walk to Epcot or take the other path to walk to Hollywood Studios??

Yes that’s correct. If you are at the Dolphin it might be quicker to walk around Yacht / Beach Club to get to Epcot. But from that little round-about looking thingy, go right to HS or straight onto the Boardwalk for EP.

And the boat is a lovely quick ride too.
Does the boat start running early enough if you want to make rope drop??

Always has for us.
The turquoise dots along the waterway in the lower center of the photo are the path to HS. You can stroll along there early. If the earliest official opening is 8:30 I might leave the Boardwalk area about 7 or 7:15.
I’ve heard it’s a 10 minute walk. I can arrive within 20 or 30 minutes.

Brisk walk… so no thank you. 15-20 is probably more my speed and for that Ill just take the peaceful boat ride and save my feet!
