I’m reading Pandora and TSL are great to see at night, but in June sunset is 5 minutes before park closing! Is it even dark enough at 8pm to see these lands light up??
I haven’t been to AK at night, but it looks like your question needs a bump anyway, so here goes:
30 minutes after sunset will be very dark. So if the park officially closes 5 minutes after sunset, i would plan on getting to Pandora right before park close and then hang out to see the lights come on. I doubt they rush everyone out right at close since there will still be people waiting for FoP. That’s the even better option if you don’t just want to hang out, get in line for FoP right before closing. I think I’ve heard the wait is around 1hr? When you walk out it will be completely dark.
