Strange Touring Plan Optimization

Is there a thread where people can share any unexpected touring plan optimizations and try to decipher why the equations came to a certain conclusion?

I’m curious what people think of my last one. I picked way too many attractions and I’m going to split it into 2-3 days instead. I usually pick relaxed walking speed and balanced waits and walks, but this time I preferred waiting over walking as we have lots of little kids.

I was very surprised to see it wants me to watch PhilharMagic during the Early Theme Park Entrance portion of the day. Why do you think it did that? Seems like a total waste.

This is a bit odd to me as well. Have you tried swapping 1 and 2 for PPF? I think it’s trying to keep you close to those Meet and Greets for 9am.

That’s a great point! I think we’ve only done one meet and greet before: Mickey and Animal Kingdom and I feel like the posted wait was 20 minutes but it ended up being a little over an hour. After we left, I realized the Lightning Lane really shafted us way more than I realized it would…. It was a crazy way to start the trip.
