So I booked the Starlight Safari since we are staying at AKL in June. I’m wondering if it’s worth it. I planned it for the end of our trip so we will have seen the animals the whole time (staying in a Savannah room). Also we have done “a safari” at the Wild Animal Park in San Diego and it was cool but definitely a one and done. What do you guys think? Is it way better seeing the animals at night? We are going to get a lot of animals on our trip!!!

Worth it! It’s just wicked neat to see them at night and use the night vision binocs. Plus seeing the lodge from that perspective at nightt is super cool too.
