Star Wars resort coming to WDW?

This sounds great, of course! But look at the cost!

…I’d pay it. Especially if is as super themed as it claims. But it’d have to be a split stay, no way I could do $1K a night for more than 2 days.

This link give a bit more info than the OP link.

The $1000, as I understand it, would be for 2 nights, 5 meals, DHS admission, plus the “special” live interactions. From other sources I’ve read, the hotel would be “deluxe” and the 2 dinners would be “signature”. If traveling solo, it’s actually not a bad deal at all for what you get. But the “value” drops with each additional person staying in the room…

But keep in mind that this is only a survey being conducted by a company Disney hired. There is no word IF this will ever see the light of day, nor is there any promise that if a package like this was to be created the details would be the same.

I’d pay it, but I think I would prefer if there was a base price and then additional “experiences” available “a la carte”. I would like the theming etc. But not a Star Wars super-fan, whereas DH is already salivating at this idea!

Strong rumours are that a Star Wars resort is on the cards. but the whole immersive idea is still being considered, hence the survey. Given the response generated though, they would be totally mad NOT to do this lol! Twitter is going mental apparently according to DH.

I agree. I have always loved the SW movies, and staying in a SW-themed resort might be fun, but I’m not really into all of the CM interactivity, live mini-shows, etc. And I would much rather have the freedom to make ADRs wherever I wanted them.
