The virtual version is Honor system. You get the medals in the mail. You get a link to print your own race bibs and finish certificate. You don’t need to submit or certify times. They are for fun. They do not count for any race qualifying time. The medals are great. It’s a fun thing. I did it during COVID to keep me “racing” when in person races were canceled. Its expensive. But it’s fun.
I got the runDisney email today about registering for the Springtime Surprise (curse you, Disney marketing). I’m thinking of trying to register for the in-person. After I promised myself I would stop feeding money from my bank account to runDisney. We’ll see.
