I got the “usual” weekly notification from SW that there’s a deal. I have learned that, typically, it’s never for my flights!
However, for some reason, they’ve really dropped the prices of my flights headed out west. This week my rate has dropped 3 times!
I’ve gotten $188 in credits by rebooking my current flights for the same times!
If you’ve got flights anytime soon you may want to check ASAP as the sale ends today!!
I booked a flight on Tuesday night and had to use a whole bunch of points
Yesterday in the morning I checked and I got almost 6000 points back!
Today it’s back up
But it definitely pays to be a crazy person like me and check for fare drops on the daily
I learned this from you a long time ago!! 
Mine have both gone up this week, but I check nearly every day at lunch and got a pretty good deal a while back for my May trip.
I’m 103 days out from my return flight for my June trip and I had a bit of a fare drop today, in that I was able to switch to a better, previously more expensive flight for zero dollars. So no money back, but a better deal for me.
Just sharing a data point.
