Solo Trip Report: May '18

Day One: A long day of mostly uneventful travel, ending with “Disney Springs in the Daylight” (my prior visits have all been at night) and dinner at Raglan Road.

Day 2, Part 1: Magic Kingdom and boat to Grand Floridian for brunch.

First look…

Good Morning America gave a lucky couple a Disney dream wedding and aired it live.

Gotta get my dose of pixie dust first thing! :star2:

It’s apparently such a small world that they know my name…

My favorite hidden Mickey.

View from the Main Street station.

First time taking a boat across the lagoon…

… and first time seeing the GF up close!

Inspired by every Disney princess whose impossible dreams became reality and every animated underdog who became the person they truly were inside in spite of all opposition, I have decided follow my own path, listen to my heart, and defy the advice of all my friends and family…

And wear orange.

And since I am at Disney World, the land of magic wands and pixie dust, I know that if I just believe that I can wear orange without bearing a striking resemblance to a sunburned cantaloupe, then I won’t.

At least, that’s what my fairy godmother told me.

I love the photo from San Angel Inn. If I hadn’t eaten there myself, you’d have a hard time convincing me that you’re actually indoors!
