Hi - I made an oopsie with my points (was it me or DVC? We’ll never know…) and despite 3 calls to Member Services I am stuck with 25 points that I cannot bank and that I will not use before they expire on 7/31.
I would be happy to help someone supplement their existing reservation or maybe make a quick trip. I would like to recoup $18 per point. I would be willing to go over 25 by a little to make a specific reservation work. Please send me a message if you are interested!

We were going to be in TN in June and I thought maybe we could add 2 days onto that trip but now it has been moved to September. So I cannot envision us paying to fly to FL just so $500 worth of points don’t go to waste!

I envision that kind of thing ALL the time. (But sadly it is my bank account that doesn’t understand my vision!)
I don’t have to try TOO hard since our Boardwalk contract had 10 banked points when we bought it that we created an entire trip around using! But I don’t need to make that mistake twice.
So what exactly could these points get me? Say around July 10th. Is a Savannah view for 2 nights possible? Or maybe GF?
That would take 17 pts for the night of the 10th. The night of the 11th, 20 pts. Total: 37 pts. But there is current availability at Kidani. Resort view at Kidani for the same two nights would be 29 pts.
GF there is Theme Park view availability, but 28 pts + 32 pts, or 60 pts total.
So this is more helpful to someone that already has points and needs a few more?
Sounds like it. Or, perhaps, using points to pay for one night to tack onto another either cash or points booked trip already.
Of course, it depends on dates. I only looked at July 10th/11th since that’s what you mentioned.
IF you are fine with a resort view at Kidani, for dates of July 9th and 10th, that’s only 28 points…so it is whether @melcort10 is willing to part with the extra 3 points. Savannah view, though, same dates, is 34 pts total, so that would require an extra 9 points.
Nah, the plan was to mostly hang at the resort and stare at the Savannah.
Yeah for the most part you’re not going to get 2 nights out of 25 points
But Sunday through Wednesday nights will be your most affordable
You can get OKW for a cool 22 points for the two nights (and that’s available)
But the other affordable sites all start at 28 points for the two nights (Jambo Resort View, SSR Standard view, Kidani Resort View,

You could also purchase the OTU points for them to get those extra points, but those are a tad more expensive.
I could buy 16 points to get a BRV room on July 16. I am coming in earlier than I thought that day and the MK extended hours are looking very attractive. I know that leaves you with some left over, but if you have no takers that helps!
