Small, but Pleasant Surprise from Disney World Today

I received a mysterious envelope from the “Experience Connection Center” in Davenport, Florida today. Inside was a 2015 Annual Pass slider and the following note:

I waited until January of this year to request my new Annual Pass MagicBand and had been a little disappointed that it included a 2014 “slider”, since I already had one of those. I never bothered to complain about it, since I figured there were more important problems for people to deal with. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant surprise when Disney solved the problem without me even saying anything!

Nice

I would have been disappointed, too. I’m glad they fixed their mistake!

It’s nice when a company solves a problem before you even report it to them.

I’ve never received a AP magic band or slider )not that I don’t have plenty of MB’s).
What does a pass holder need to do to get these little jewels?

Check on the My Disney Experience part of the Disney World website under the “MagicBands and Cards” section to see if there is a passholder band waiting to be “customized”. I got a band the last two years with my AP and the sliders came with that band.
