We were just talking about it on the daily thread. I’m having trouble tagging people. It takes a few tries. These past couple days it has been soooo sloooow although today it may be better. Len said he did some updates the past couple days so maybe that’s it. I’m still having it lag to reply or load a different forum topic. I use mobile most of the time.

The forum is hosted by another company for TP, David said they’ll reach out to them if needed.

Anyone else finding the site to be running slow for the past few days? I am on the desktop, and I have tried clearing the cache and cookies, but it is still slow.

We see the forum is pretty overloaded because it is being hammered by AI scrapers. We are going to see if we can mitigate that

Are AI scrapers taking info from La Cava, in addition to the public parts of the forum?

No - the La Cava forum isn’t even visible without being logged in and trusted.
You can verify this by opening an incognito browser session and visiting forum.touringplans.com.

Just an FYI things are running smoothly for me this morning! I was able to post a long trip report post with zero freezes and only one forces refresh.
