Single rider at Remy and Test Track?

I was planning to go on Remy and Test Track single rider. Is the wait often less? Is it shorter than if I had a LL? Is it typically open until park close?

Any suggestions? Was planning to hit those around 1pm on a Park crowd level 5 day.

I’ve only done SR on TT. The wait was much shorter than standby, but I think it was longer than if I had a LL. But this was free (I had not bought LLMP) and it did not involve any scheduling! I was happy.

Be mindful of the fact that TT will close if it is raining, or if the track is still too wet after a rain.

Both Remy and Test Track are great single rider lines since the ride vehicles hold 6 people.

I used both of them on my October Disney trip. The morning I used Remy single rider the Standby wait was 30 minutes and I just walked onto the ride.

Remy was down last week when I tried, but TT was faster single rider than LL when I did it. TT had been down for a while and LL got backed up, but single rider did not.

That’s great advice and applies equally to any ride with a SR line and a ride car that holds more than 4. (Eg Spider-Man and transformers at Universal)

Both were open when we went in August and again this week. We didn’t need them this week as lines were fairly short, but we used them both last trip and we had SR’s places with us this trip.

I used both of these SR queues last month on a night where Epcot had EEH. I rode Remy just a few minutes before regular park close and actually asked the CM at the entrance whether LL or SR would be faster (I had both). He said LL, which indeed was a walk on - but SR looked very short at well.

I rode TT during EEH. Both the LL and SR were open, even though LL usually isn’t during EEH. I am guessing this is because TT was down for 2-3 hrs before park close and had just come back up, so many people had unused MEPs. I tapped into the LL but when I reached the merge point, I saw the SR queue was a walk on and the CM sent me to join that one after asking for the number in my party.

Definitely a big time saver if you can use it.

Mammoth Club has a recent video about single rider lines.

The LL queue is also used for DAS and Rider Swap, so it gets used during times there is no LL use such as parties, deluxe evening hours, and Disney After Hours events. I’m not sure MEP would be accepted during EEH, but others would know more.

It seems to vary. I had read in a few TRs here that LLs would not be open during EEH, so I did Remy right before park close.

When I got to FEA around 20 min into EEH, I was told by the CM at the entrance that the LL was now closed (I had both a FEA LL and an MEP left over from TT being down). I did end up getting to use the LL after a second CM pixie dusted me by waving me into the LL, but she made it clear that this was an exception.

I was positively surprised that I had no problem scanning into TT with my MEP 1.hrs into EEH, but as mentioned above it had just come back up after a long downtime so I assumed that they were trying to honor MEPs from that downtime to prevent guest complaints.
