Im going to discuss a few options with my wife but what I am thinking I might do is just buy 1 ticket for me to the additional Monday party as selfish as that sounds. I can do AK all day with the family and then take the wife and kids back to Bay Lake Tower after ROL then I could just run over to MK for the 2 hours of MNSSHP. I could knock out Space Mountain, which I really want to do and I am the only one in my party doing it. I could also knockout some of the photo pass pictures that I really love. I could also knock out Pirates and decide if the MNSSHP features of the ride are worth using party time while Im there with my family. Then the kids would get some sleep and be fresh and ready for EMM and I would get a little more time at my favorite event. Even though I would miss most the party, the value would be better since I am only buying 1 ticket as opposed to 4 tickets and still missing a good portion of the party. Ugh, decision, decisions. Thanks everyone for getting me thinking.

This plan might just be the best for your family. The kids get lots of sleep and you get to experience your favorite event for only 1/4 the cost of all 4 of you going. I went to 3 parties and had no problem paying for it, BUT it was only me with friends…if I had taken my spouse and kids I think 1 party would have had to be it.
There’s no way I’d pay for a ticket if I was intending to be there 2 hours and ride 2 rides.
But it’s Space Mountain!

I will also cop to being fiscally irresponsible when it comes to Disney.
I am paying more than the party ticket to go do a character themed hair & make-up at GF before my first party.
I am going to be Queen of Hearts so how can I resist 
I love Space Mountain. But not enough to pay extra for 1 ride.

Thank you! I appreciate the tip. I have a dessert party reserved for our last night, Galactic spectacular. I have never done a dessert party before. I honestly never really saw the value in them and the desserts just look “meh” to me. The Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party will be our first ever so we will see. Anyone else want to share their dessert party experiences? Did you like it, was it worth it?

This is our first year trying it, but it looks pretty tasty. PLUS, it’s one of the few that serves alcohol as well as non-alcoholic beverages. That’s a big factor in the cost.
I’ve seen videos on You Tube, and they seem to give you a great view of the projections and fireworks. PLUS, you can stay inside in the nice A/C until it’s time to walk outside under escort… no sitting in the heat!

Yes thats the one. I agree with all of your points especially regarding alcohol, A/C and prime views. I also like that you get a cool chewbacca souvenir mug and it also looks like there are characters strolling around that you can interact with. Because of all of these factors I thought this party might be a better value than some of the others I’ve seen, so i figured we would give it a try.
