Ah…so it is basically like saying “fo sho”. Got it. So not related at all.
Nope, not related. Shiggs combines The SHI in shits and the GG in giggles.
NEWS: Disney Cancels 3 Months of Cruises on Its Newest Ship | the disney food blog
THIS IS NOT YOUR SHIP!!!
I feel this is a completely different circumstance than dry dock for a small refurb ![]()
Yes, you are correct, but I thought we were spiraling at a possible cancelation and then what would Disney do (WWDD) situation, and I thought I’d contribute because it did spell out WDWD in the event of a cancelation ![]()
The DFB click bait also made me look ![]()
Oh yeah that’s true.
Yeah. I saw that. It is for the Adventure. But I’ll admit, I had a tinge of concern creep in, even though I know it is an ENTIRELY different scenario.
Even as information was shared about compensation to those affected by the delay? I believe they were offering 50% off a future cruise which is no small thing.
I agree that this actually seems like a best case scenario to play out for the future.
I hear you
So, this trip is our 30th Anniversary trip. The Disney Cruise was kind of special add-on…but since it smack-dab in the middle of the trip, IF something happened to cause the cruise to be cancelled, isn’t just about rescheduling the cruise…because we probably wouldn’t bother. We would just get a refund to finance staying on WDW property and getting tickets (which we don’t currently have) for the parks.
If we were just flying down the day before and just going to the cruise, then it would honestly be annoying, but little more. But we have a very Christmas-themed Anniversary trip…with Jollywood Nights, MVMCP, the Very Merrytime Cruise, and then finally Festival of the Holidays with Candlelight processional.
So, we have a Pop Century reservation booked now as a back-up, which we will cancel once we are 100% sure the cruise doesn’t have any dry-dock issues that could delay things for any unexpected (and highly unlikely) reason.
Unfortunately, this is what comes of being the kind of people who don’t do “last minute” very well. After all…we are starting to plan for 2028….
Gotcha
