Shared memory maker for April 2025 trip?

Looking to reduce cost by sharing memory maker. Good for 30 days. My trip is April 23-27.

How far off can the trips be? We are going May 24-31 and would be interested in the share.

According to WDW’s website, Help, 30 days to capture more photos ONCE you download your first photo. And photos expire 45 days after your photos are taken.

I will be there May 26 to June 2 and would be interested! Halfsies is still a little much for me for this trip but maybe we can find at least one more??

Still looking for another to join!! April 12-May 12 or tomorrow would work!! Been set up since last week! With 1 more person it will be 46.25 perfect for special shots and photo place at Disney springs.

The memory maker isn’t working as of the 12th.

@jeep780 is unable to see her pictures without the watermark. We see the memory maker purchased for your trip on the 26th but that doesn’t cover the 12th. Can you get it to start on the 12th? Not sure how that works.

I’ve done a couple of MM Share and just finished one.

  1. The MM is assigned to an MDE account when it is purchased. My MM is always assigned to my dummy account.
  2. Everyone who is on the MM Share must be family and friends on the MM assigned account.
  3. Your photos will appear in your personal MDE account and in the dummy account.
  4. But with an MM Share, photos without watermarks will only appear in the dummy account and can only be downloaded from the dummy account.   5. If the photos in the dummy account still have watermarks, initiate the activation process. How? When someone downloads the first PhotoPass photo from the dummy account, MDE will ask if you want to activate the MM. After activation of the MM from the dummy account, photos in the dummy account will no longer have the watermark.
  6. Even after the MM is activated from the dummy account, each MM Share’s participant will still have watermarks on the photos in their personal MDE account.
  7. Beware! Once the MM is activated, you only have 30 days to add more photos to the MM. And you have 45 days after the photo was taken to download the photos. So, my MM Share spans about 32 days. As such, I asked the first user of the MM Share to delay activating the MM for 3 days so that we could accommodate everyone’s travel dates in my MM Share.

My MM Shares have worked well. Hope this helps!

Thank you for that information. When I did a MM share I didn’t have to go on the dummy account to download the pictures. The were not watermarked (already activated by download)
